Cupcakes, Playdoh, and Exhaustion

Wow! Well today was a regular work day for me and Brandon, but Jackson had a great birthday! Last night we made 45 cupcakes for him so he could take some to Jackie's and also so we could have some here at the house. I took some to work, and I think we still have about, oh 20 left! But Jack had fun helping make his cupcakes. He put the paper in the cups for us and helped stir. Of course Brandon had to stay on him to make sure he wasn't sampling the batter - Jack doesn't quite understand that it is common courtesy to not 'double dip' your spoon! We had to explain that, but he just kept asking 'Why??" It was priceless.

I picked Jack up a little early from Jackie's today. We got home, picked up Brandon and headed over to have dinner with Nikki, Lili, and CJ. It was a BEAUTIFUL day. You would have never known it was August! I was chilly sitting in the backyard tonight and was shocked to hear geese honking flying over our heads. Really strange! We had pizza and the kids played. It was a great way to end Jack's 3rd birthday! Here are some pictures :)

Happy birthday to my baby boy! Cannot believe it has been 3 years. Definitely a quick 3 years for sure. I cannot imagine life without him! Now I'm exhausted - time for an early bed time :)
